COO SurgeCare - Stanford-born immune science - Improving surgical patient care

Paris, Île-de-France, France

About

COO at SurgeCare, a medtech developing immune-intelligence diagnostics that transform surgical risk prediction and elevate perioperative care. I joined Surge in 2025 to help scale the company from scientific breakthrough to commercial deployment. My role spans go-to-market strategy (US & EU), operations, organizational design, and overall readiness as we enter a phase of accelerated growth. Before Surge, I built and led the Transformation Office at Institut Pasteur, driving institution-wide programs across data, operations, HR, and strategic project delivery. Earlier, I served as COO of Linkfluence (acquired by Meltwater) and General Manager of Yogosha, a cybersecurity company. I bring a dual background in deep-tech and organizational leadership, supported by a PhD in Sociology. My work focuses on scaling teams, structuring complexity, and turning scientific innovation into executable strategy. I also serve as President of Focus 2030, an NGO advancing UN SDG commitments. What drives me: building high-performing teams, designing scalable systems, and enabling breakthrough technologies to reach real-world adoption.

  • Chief Operating Officer at SurgeCare
    Nov 2025 - Present · 8 mos

The immune system holds a vast amount of information that remains largely unexploited.  Forged at Stanford University, our team draws on ten years of interdisciplinary research and a model trained on more than a billion cells to build products that map each patient's immune profile to an unprecedented degree of precision. Our goal is to turn these immune signatures into objective data that supports physicians in their clinical decisions and gives patients access to personalized care pathways. PreCyte is Surge's first product. This predictive blood test identifies patients at risk of postoperative infection within 24 hours of surgery, three days earlier than existing solutions. It runs on the cytometry instruments hospital labs already operate, with no new infrastructure required.
