Extensive experience for training scientists and non-experts and excellent communication skills. --Provide training with experimental design, sample preparation, the use of cell analysers and software for data analysis. --Deliver (annually) ‘Introduction to Flow Cytometry’ in Biophysical Techniques lecture series. --Oral and poster presentation on international (ISAC) and UK (FlowCytometryUK) flow cytometry communities. Managerial responsibilities: manage the daily operation of the facility. -- Extensive trouble shooting skills and accountable to scout and evaluate emerging technology, reagents, instrumentation aligned with the continuous development of the facility. --Performing technical due diligence of potential external partners. Initiate and implement tender pipeline including pre-tender evaluation, mid-tender reports, post-tender validation. --Set up biosafety class II laboratory, write SOPs for conducting clinical samples and implement laboratory safety guidelines. --Identifying opportunities, propose solutions and work across boundaries in the scientific area of protein, DNA analysis to enable collaboration with vendors for assay and platform development. --Recruiting, training, and supervising junior staff. Conduct periodic appraisals.
