Genome Diagnostics Nijmegen is part of the Department of Human Genetics Nijmegen of the Radboud University Medicial Centre. At this division i'm employed as a technician at the Core Genome Analysis Laboratory (CGAL). I daily work at pre- and postfacilities with technics as DNA extractions, DNA normalisation, PCR, Sanger Sequencing, Next Generation Sequencing, Nextseq 500, Ion Torrent Semiconductors, library preparation.
Contributed to R&D and product development in the fresh convenience sector by supporting technical sales projects and pilot plant trials. Provided technical support for new and existing products using a range of analytical and microbiological methods. Developed new applications, including enhanced smoothies and extended shelf-life solutions for fresh-cut fruit. Responsible for product validation, raw material database creation, and protocol development. Collaborated with QC and international teams, with regular reporting to R&D management. Experienced in GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards, with strong skills in technical reporting and cross-functional communication.
