My professional and research focus centers on the governance of real estate and waqf assets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and on an analytical reading of the regulatory frameworks shaping the real estate and investment sectors - one that integrates the regulatory, financial, and Sharia dimensions. I currently serve at Pioneers Real Estate Development in Jeddah, contributing to opportunity assessment and analysis, the translation of preliminary ideas into proposals with clearly defined risks and returns, and the development of operational and institutional frameworks at both the company and project levels. The nature of this work calls for reading simultaneously across multiple layers - regulatory, financial, Sharia, operational, and market - with the ability to carry a single idea across distinct professional registers within one cohesive document. My interest in the waqf sector is a natural extension of this trajectory, with a focus on the governance of waqf assets and their regulatory frameworks — an interest I addressed within my master's thesis.
