About

I am conducting experimental and numerical research (using the Discrete Element Method (DEM) in YADE) to investigate the performance of spiral piles in sandy soils under different conditions, including dry, saturated, and unsaturated states. My research focuses on modeling pile-soil interaction during installation and loading, and evaluating penetration resistance, bearing capacity, and pullout capacity under two-way cyclic loading. In addition, I examine how different spiral geometries, particularly continuous spiral configurations, affect soil disturbance, stress transfer mechanisms, and overall pile performance.
