1. Handle complex data network connectivity solutions for integrating various GSM Voice & Data services (Packet-Core) over IP backbone. 2. Supervise Data Network Enhancement Initiatives like SW/HW upgrades and new features implementation. 3. Evaluate failure scenarios for major Core services. 4. Collaborate with our customers vendors like ALU, NSN, Ericsson, Juniper, Huawei, ZTE, etc. during solution design phase for optimum solution delivery. 5. Focus on QOS requirements implementation for critical services like VoIP and 3G packet core. 6. Design and plan for various data services clusters like 3G Internet Cluster and Corporate Wireless Solutions CWS Cluster. 7. Interface with different suppliers/vendors and Procurement during hardware purchase process. 8. Provide designated technical lead on the Allocated Data Network Projects ensuring that all activities are carried out as requested within the time and budget constraints. 9. Benchmark with Orange subsidiaries for best practices used for critical core services like VoIP. 10. Test new HW, software and features in the Data Network LAB. 11. Support operational teams when needed to resolve complex network cases which require configuration changes or upgrades. 12. Create and maintain network documentation.
• Creating & Modifying 2G and 3G circuits End to End on (Tellabs 8600 BEP nodes, Ericsson TN, SIAE microwave links, RTN links, Huawei PTN 6900 & Huawei OSN 3500). • Configuring STM-1s on (Tellabs 8600 BEP nodes, Ericsson TN, SIAE, RTN, Huawei PTN 6900 & Huawei OSN 3500). • Configuring HSPA and IPRAN sites and fixed accounts on (Tellabs 8600 BEP nodes, Ericsson TN, SIAE, RTN, PTN) • Second line support for all backhaul transmission nodes (Tellabs 8600 BEP & Huawei PTN 3500)). • Verify new products and technologies with Vendors to guarantee meeting our network standards and safety. • Run cut-over for sites expansion and rerouting to avoid (Line Of Sight) problems.
