I am a dedicated leader in public service, environmental advocacy, and media, with a lifelong commitment to transformative change. With a strong academic foundation in Business Computer Science, Accounting & Auditing, and specialized NGO capacity building, I have built my career at the intersection of business, sustainability, and social impact. Currently, I serve as Counselor for the Minister of Agriculture in Lebanon, as well as Chairman of the IUCN National Committee of Lebanon and President of the GHADI organization. Since 1995, I have been blending entrepreneurial expertise with environmental stewardship. Through Ghadi News, I have led initiatives in education, media, and environmental research, recently expanding into short films, reports, and awareness campaigns. As Managing Partner & Co-founder of ISB Group SARL and General Manager at UBSCO SARL, I have driven advancements in financial consulting. I also chair Media Group, overseeing influential platforms such as www.althaer.com and www.ghadinews.net, which amplify critical social and environmental issues. In 2016, I was honored to be appointed District Governor of Lions International D351 (Lebanon-Jordan-Iraq-Palestine), a milestone that strengthened my dedication to advocacy and leadership. Since 1999, I have actively participated in international forums, fostering collaboration on global sustainability initiatives. I am deeply committed to policy advocacy and community welfare, leading nationwide environmental programs in partnership with the Ministry of Environment in Lebanon and the Middle East. My contributions extend to organizations such as the Conseil National de l'Audiovisuel, FAID, and Saint Vincent de Paul Youth. Believing in the power of collaborative action, I have signed multiple MOUs with ministries, government institutions, universities, and business chambers to strengthen nature conservation efforts. With a vision for sustainability, innovation, and positive change, I continue to drive meaningful impact across sectors.
