I am a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Consultant with over 25 years of experience in high-risk pregnancy, with a particular focus on preeclampsia, first-trimester screening, and implementation of evidence-based care. My work sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, research, and health system implementation, with a strong interest in translating validated screening strategies into real-world practice across diverse healthcare settings, including low- and middle-income countries. I have led and collaborated on large multicentre studies evaluating preeclampsia screening models, including the application and validation of first-trimester prediction algorithms in different populations (Australia, Brazil, Africa). My work also extends to clinical integration of digital tools and AI-enabled decision support systems in maternal care, with a focus on safety, workflow integration, and clinical governance. I am increasingly involved in strategic advisory roles with healthcare organisations, research groups, and digital health initiatives, supporting: Implementation of screening programs (e.g. preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction) Clinical validation of digital health and AI solutions Design of real-world studies and clinical trials Development of safe and scalable care pathways I am particularly interested in opportunities to contribute as an advisor or board member to organisations working in maternal health, diagnostics, digital health, and global health implementation.
