About

Board director and investment executive operating at the intersection of real estate and alternative investments, currently stewarding a US$3bn real assets portfolio across the UK, continental Europe, and Africa. At Taib Group, a family conglomerate investing across real assets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, I lead the Investment Committee of Ariomori Investments, the group's real estate investment arm, allocating capital across a core and core-plus property book in the UK and continental Europe, alongside development and value-add positions across the wider footprint. Before Taib Group, I spent twenty years in senior roles at McKinsey & Company, EY-Parthenon, and Promon, and built a foundation of hands-on single-asset development and property acquisitions in my early career, which progressed to some of the most consequential real estate developments of the past two decades and shaped how I think about scale, capital allocation, risk, and long-duration execution: - Urban regenerations: King's Cross and Battersea (London); Melrose Arch and Maboneng Precinct (Johannesburg) - Special economic zones: King Abdullah Economic City and Jubail Industrial City (Saudi Arabia); Natura Ecoparque - Master-planned communities: Itahyê and Alphaville (São Paulo); Cidade Pedra Branca (Palhoça) Today, I increasingly channel that operating experience into the boardroom. Boards bring me in for real estate and capital allocation mandates across Europe, UK, Middle East, and and Latin America, particularly where investment oversight, cross-border transactions, governance complexity, and sovereign or government stakeholders converge. My range spans both ends of the real estate spectrum: the single-asset underwriting discipline that anchors day-to-day capital allocation in a core/core-plus portfolio, and the long-duration thinking and stakeholder stewardship that complex, large-scale developments demand.
