- Responsible for purchasing materials and supplies for the instrumentation laboratory; - Preparation of vehicles with strain-gages and sensors of different physical magnitudes for structural tests on trucks and buses; - Preparation and execution of structural tests on trucks and buses in several projects for the company, data post-processing and test report issuance, focusing on material fatigue analysis and safe life prediction of mechanical components; - Responsible to prepare, instrument and perform data acquisition and structural analysis in new MAN engine parts, models D08 (4 and 6 cylinders) and D26; - Calibration and execution of accelerated durability bench test considering actual vehicle application (VW Truck) in order to release the component; - Engineer responsible for data acquisition of the Meteor project campaign; - Engineer responsible for the structural bench tests of the Meteor project (Volkswagen trucks); - Development of customized durability test procedures for certification of organization's new projects; - Team works with customer's engineering team for data acquisition in fleet owner's vehicles; - Work together with supplier's engineering to evaluate and certify new components; - Deep knowledge in HBM and Siemens SCADAS data acquisition equipment.
- Professional interchange carried out between Volkswagen Trucks & Buses and MAN Truck & Bus SE companies, in order to transfer structural tests knowledge necessary to develop/release components of Diesel engines MAN D08 (4 and 6 cylinders) and D26, used on trucks VW.
- Test engineer at service of MAN Latin America; - Activities linked to vehicular instrumentation and data acquisition with the application of strain-gages, accelerometers, transducers/transmitters among others sensors for measurements of different physical quantities as: displacement, pressure, temperature, flow, stress, etc; - Deep knowledge in special tests and structural data acquisition in trucks and buses on different systems such as chassis, suspension & steering, cabin, powertrain, engines for validation/release of new projects; - As engineer, my main activity was to post-process data, obtain results and issue test report, containing detailed fatigue analysis and safe life prediction for mechanical components; - Field activities performed together with Customer Engineering and Durability team for instrumentation and preparation of tests vehicles in measurements of possible failures occurred during actual vehicle application; - Work synergy with suppliers for structural data acquisition in order to produce valid boundary condition and improve projects points as well as work in cost reduction.
