- Defining and executing the company’s new strategic direction by positioning Lotus Tech Germany as a key engineering hub for Geely’s global operations — with a dual mission: 1. Support Geely’s overseas expansion through integrated vehicle engineering and innovation capabilities 2. - Led the global Steer-by-Wire (SbW) product development initiative, securing a successful market entrance and positioning Bosch as a leader in next-generation steering technologies. - Directed a worldwide R&D team of 40+ engineers to deliver high-performance product solutions aligned with strategic business goals. - Oversaw market intelligence and product management activities, translating market trends into actionable strategies for business expansion. - Coordinated global customer project development, ensuring efficiency, technical excellence, and on-time execution.
- Directed the establishment and leadership of a dedicated Project Homeroom in China for General Motors, supporting both GM China and GM North America programs. - Coordinated cross-functional teams across Purchasing, Industrialization, Sales, and Engineering to deliver electric steering system projects on time, within budget, and to global quality standards. - Acted as the primary technical and business interface between Bosch China, Bosch Germany and GM global teams, ensuring seamless cooperation and project execution. - Resolved complex organizational and technical challenges across regional teams to drive customer satisfaction and project success. Key Achievements: - Successfully launched China’s first advanced Electric Power Steering (EPSc) system with integrated cybersecurity features for a global OEM. - Strengthened strategic partnership with General Motors through localized project leadership and delivery excellence.
- Continued building and leading the newly created Electric/Electronic Integration and Functional Safety team. - Successfully launched the first Electric Power Steering Column-Type (EPSc) system into the global market, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards. - Secured major global business awards from leading automotive OEMs, supporting Bosch's strategic growth in the electric steering segment. - Drove continuous product quality improvement through field return data analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
- Joined ZF Lenksysteme to lead the establishment of Electric/Electronic Integration and Functional Safety activities for the new Electric Power Steering Column-Type (EPSc) product line. - Built foundational E/E system architecture processes, focusing on compliance with ISO 26262 automotive safety standards and aligning system development across hardware and software functions. - Played a key role in setting up the E/E technical organization from the ground up to support future series production.
- Led the full development and integration of chassis systems, including front and rear suspensions, braking systems, steering systems, and AWD transmissions, for the Fiat New Panda project. - Directed a cross-functional Chassis Team to deliver new components and technical solutions aligned with performance, cost, and quality targets. - Ensured project execution according to the program approval contract and vehicle launch timeline.
