During my career I had the opportunity to study and understand the great impact biotechnology is having in designing and bringing health care solutions throughout the world. In particular, during my scientific career I was confronted with scientific issues which are now at the center of big pharma companies' pipeline, namely new targeted approaches and protein characterization. I believe that such experience, coupled with the business development and strategic marketing experience I have in pharmaceutical companies and with the management skills I’ve built up at SDA Bocconi and at Bain & Co. could be of high value in an innovative global pharma company. Major Strategy - innovation
Implemented the decisional process concerning the choice of new drugs to be developed at Dipharma. Taking advantage of my strong scientific background, the marketing of already developed products was re- focused on the key scientific- commercial aspects of the molecules. Reporting directly to the marketing director, we issued new product information sheets which are now leading to new contracts with major pharmaceutical companies. Basing the choice on my analysis, four new products entered the company pipeline in the last 6 months. Played the scientific advisor role in the process of acquisition of two external companies. Performed an analysis exploring dangers and possibilities for the company to enter the biotech market.
