Bilingual Production Engineer Professional (Portuguese & English) holding a BSc in Production Engineering, with over 18 years of experience in construction activities involving Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, Bill of Quantities Development, Construction and Quality Management, Site Inspections, Technical Reports, Valuations and Claims Management. Competent in the use of AutoCAD software and BIM/AUTODESK REVIT, with Health & Safety Regulations and ISO 9001 Quality Standards knowledge. • Supporting the management team with day to day running of the site, liaising with consultants/sub-contractors/quantity surveyors and general workforce • Responsible for the setting-out, levelling and surveying of the site, including checking plans, reviewing technical drawings, quantities for calculation accuracy, ensuring operatives are all on the same page, handling technical queries when necessary • Reviewing and monitoring project documentation and activities, while supporting the Senior Engineer with the project development and team supervision, certificating adequate compliance with health and safety policies • Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients, stablishing corrective measures so to coordinate the architectural and engineering drawings • Development of as-built drawings using AUTOCAD • Materials quantity surveying according to drawings
• Commercial projects site engineer responsible for setting out using total station (Trimble) • Responsible for the setting-out, levelling, and surveying of the site, including checking plans, reviewing technical designs, and quantities for accuracy calculation, and ensuring operatives are all on the same page and using the latest document versions • Reviewing and monitoring project documentation and activities, requirements while supporting the Senior Engineer with the project’s day-to-day development and team supervision, while ensuring compliance with health and safety policies • Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crewmembers and clients • Development of As-built drawings using AUTOCAD • Take off materials according to drawings
