With over a year and a half immersed in the dynamic world of retail marketing and commercial partnerships, my journey at Getir has been marked by spearheading marketing strategies and partnership management. Strategic Leadership: Transitioned from operational execution to strategic oversight, leading the Retail Marketing and New Business teams to achieve revenue and growth targets through effective delegation and team coordination. Product & Commercial Synergy: Acting as the primary bridge between Commercial and Product teams; defining the roadmap for app development needs and ensuring technical implementations align with commercial objectives. Revenue Optimization: Overseeing the maximization of retail marketing revenues by guiding category teams and optimizing the pricing and positioning of Getir's internal advertising assets. Ecosystem Development: Directing the strategy for GetirAds (self-service platform) and the B2B partner data platform to enhance supplier value and monetization.
New Business Development: Spearheaded strategic partnerships with non-supplier sectors (Banking, Telecom, etc.) and managed coupon sales, effectively monetizing Getir as a marketing channel for external brands not listed on the app. Commercial Planning: Orchestrated the monthly commercial calendar for both Getir and Getir Büyük; coordinated cross-functional teams to align campaign schedules with sales targets and commercial requirements. Ad Tech & Platform Development: Led product enhancements for the self-service advertising platform (GetirAds) and the B2B partner data platform to improve supplier insights and engagement. Asset Management: Developed and priced new internal advertising spaces within the app, implementing strategies to increase fill rates and operational efficiency. Supplier Relations: Negotiated annual retail marketing agreements (JBP) and designed comprehensive communication plans specifically for supplier product launches. Revenue Support: Collaborated closely with category teams to drive retail marketing revenue growth through data-driven support and targeted campaign strategies.
