· Spearheaded the planning, design, and execution of the $447 million EXIM India-funded EPC project (FIDIC Silver Book) for constructing a 112-km standard gauge railway in Ghana. Oversaw a 1,200-strong workforce and complex logistics in West Africa. · Directed large-scale infrastructure projects, driving timely delivery through strategic planning and operations oversight. · Executed globally the longest five 60-meter bridges across Lake Volta (largest artificial reservoir in the world), with raker piles reaching 77 meters, setting a global engineering milestone. Responsible for Planning, Execution and Monitoring of JICA funded project of construction of Double line Railway Tracks of 345 km route kms including electrification and signalling.
Project head for Construction of 24 nos. of Road over Bridges/Road under Bridges on turnkey basis in the state of Rajasthan in India. This involved complete planning, design and execution of work. Gained expertise in the field of concrete bridge designs, concrete technology, composite girders and RE wall design and construction.
Upkeep and maintenance of Railway rack, bridges and buildings; planning and management of funds for maintenance and for new asset creation; human resource development; inter departmental co-ordination.
Planning and monitoring of periodical USFD testing of Railway track of entire Zonal Railway, planning and monitoring of track renewals and human resource planning for new assets.
- Worked as a project head, dealt with Contract, material and Finance Management apart from execution, monitoring and quality assurance subjects and was responsible for planning and execution of a part portion of Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramullah Rail Link Project in Himalayan region of India. Geology of project location was full of challenges and surprises. - Gained valuable experience of tunneling in unstable geological formations and construction of high bridge piers with slip-form shuttering. - Also associated with construction of famous arch bridge across river Chenab having span of 480 mtr.
In a short span of 17 months I gained experience in construction of new strategic roads vital for defence sector in extremely inaccessible and inhospitable rugged Himalayan region of India.
