Edwin has over 20 years experience in durable consumer goods, communications, electronics and the content delivery industry in various global marketing and executive positions across Europe and Asia for renowned companies as IBM, Royal Philips and Gibson. He has a proven track record in brand management, marketing planning, P&L ownership, product creation, consumer thinking, marketing activation. He guided organizations through disruptive innovation and digital conversion and led significant business redesign and transformation projects focusing on improving financial performance and post-merger integration. After obtaining his degree in Business Economics, Edwin started in direct marketing before joining Royal Philips in 1994, where he held several commercial & senior management functions before being appointed as Executive in Philips Lifestyle Entertainment business. In 2014 Edwin was appointed Chief Marketing Officer and Member of the Board of Gibson Innovations, one of the world’s leading music lifestyle companies and subsequently joined IBM in 2016 as Senior Executive for their Global Electronics Industry sector. With a vast international business experience Edwin has been living and working abroad in the Netherlands, France, Singapore and Hong Kong.
