I’m a senior commercial and partnerships leader with experience scaling creative businesses through growth, transformation and complexity. Across my career I’ve held Commercial Director and Managing Director roles with accountability for significant revenue ownership, strategic partnerships, client growth and operational performance. I specialise in translating vision into practical execution, strengthening commercial governance, shaping go to market strategy, improving conversion and forecasting, and aligning cross functional teams around ambitious growth objectives. At the heart of my approach is a belief that sustainable growth is human led. I take a holistic view of business, looking not just at numbers and strategy, but at behaviour, culture and team dynamics. I’m deeply interested in how people think, operate and collaborate, and how that influences performance. I lead with clarity and accountability, always with a people first mindset, building environments where individuals thrive while delivering strong commercial outcomes. Alongside my executive roles, I’ve supported founders and leadership teams through advisory and coaching engagements focused on growth, structure and commercial clarity. I also co founded Elevate NewGen, an initiative designed to widen access and opportunity within the creative industries, reflecting my commitment to purpose and impact beyond commercial outcomes alone. Elevate NewGen is an initiative very close to my heart. As part of Elevate Mentoring, one of the events industry’s leading mentoring programmes, we created NewGen to open up the industry to young people who may not otherwise have access to the guidance, networks and opportunities needed to build a career in the sector. NewGen is a three month programme designed to create a more inclusive and representative events industry by unlocking pathways for underrepresented and marginalised young people. Through structured mentoring, skills development, industry insight, networking and real work experience opportunities, we aim to bridge the gap between ambition and access. As co-founder, I drive the strategy and development of the programme, from shaping its vision and structure to leading outreach and partnership development. Alongside this, I work hands on with young people, providing guidance, support and industry insight to help build confidence and create tangible pathways into the sector. For me, NewGen represents the belief that opportunity should not be determined by background, and that strong industries are built when access is widened and diverse talent is supported to thrive.
As Commercial Director at Event Concept, I led the client services function and sat on the senior leadership team, driving commercial performance and long-term growth strategy. I was responsible for overseeing all production revenue (circa 46% of total group revenue), leading a 14-person client services team and managing key venue and client partnerships across London. My focus was on strengthening commercial governance, improving conversion and forecasting, and aligning creative ambition with operational and financial rigour. I also contributed to wider business growth strategy, go-to-market planning and new business initiatives, ensuring commercial insight and client intelligence informed ambitious revenue targets and long-term scaling objectives. I worked cross-functionally to protect margin, deepen client relationships and build scalable structures that supported sustainable growth.
The Department is an immersive agency focused on crafting multi-sensory brand worlds and 360 degree storytelling experiences that place audiences at the centre of the action. Blending live experience with purposeful digital capture, the agency creates scalable brand narratives designed to drive meaningful engagement. As Managing Director, I was responsible for the overall performance and direction of the business, leading across commercial, operational and creative functions. My focus was on building the clarity and structure needed to scale sustainably. Redesigning company framework, strengthened ways of working and aligned teams around clear growth priorities to improve accountability, collaboration and commercial performance. Alongside core agency delivery, I led the exploration of new revenue opportunities and innovation-led projects to support diversification and long-term growth, balancing creative ambition with commercial rigour while maintaining a strong, people-first culture.
