My passion lies in the complex and dynamic world of ports and port economics. As a Maritime Economist and Consultant, I have dedicated my career to advancing the port industry through practical, data-driven solutions and innovative strategies. I am committed to uncovering and delivering solutions to clients' challenges, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care. With extensive experience in Port Policy, Management and Governance, I have been involved in a wide range of research, consultancy, and business engagements, particularly in maritime trade and transport. Over the years, I have contributed to numerous EU-funded projects and government initiatives, providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of ports. Academic research is at the heart of my professional journey. I have shared my insights at leading international conferences and contributed with publications on key maritime issues, including port governance, port performance, and the effects of shipping policies. As a member of the PortEconomics initiative and co-editor of GREPORT 2022, the first intelligence report on the Greek Port Industry, I have actively worked to advance knowledge in this field. My love for mentoring has driven me to not only share knowledge but also to inspire and guide the next generation of maritime professionals. My work is rooted in practical applications and aims to impact policy-making and industry practices. In my current role at OCTANE Management Consultants, I focus on economic and financial project evaluations, strategic market analyses, and business consulting. I am involved in high-impact consultancy projects, including valuations, feasibility studies, and operational restructuring for a diverse clientele. With international experience across Europe and the Middle East, I approach my work with a global mindset. I am dedicated to bringing integrity, quality, and a passion for fostering innovation and excellence to all of my work.
