Evie Vanezi is the EMEA Chief Executive Officer of Jefferies overseeing the execution of the firm’s strategy in Europe. Evie joined Jefferies in October 2011 and since then she has been instrumental in the growth of the Jefferies platform and infrastructure in Europe where she held a number of senior roles, more recently as EMEA Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Global Head of Enterprise Risk. Throughout her career, Evie has managed a diverse team of professionals in navigating complex business and regulatory environments. Prior to joining Jefferies, Evie held roles at KPMG and the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA). She has a wealth of experience across Business Strategy, Risk Management, Regulatory Supervision and Compliance, as well as leading transformation programmes on control infrastructure. Evie is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, graduating with the distinction of First Class Honours. She also received her Master of Science in Mathematical Finance from the University of Oxford and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
