Social media intern at the LSE's journalism and media think tank, Polis. This includes live-tweeting events and writing relevant blog posts. I split my time evenly between Communications/Events and Publisher Relations. I was involved in digital marketing and copywriting, the smooth running of events, representing PLS at conferences and database management. I was also the first port of call for the Access to Research initiative, which gives free, walk-in access to a wide range of academic articles and research in public libraries across the UK. This meant that I took participating local authorities through every step of the process, and I am confident dealing with complaints and troubleshooting.
