Job Description: Handle and monitor all the procurement orders to China-based suppliers issued by Glen Dimplex Group companies throughout the world. Work with overseas companies and China suppliers on order production and delivery. Job details: Respond to emails and order requirement from overseas companies in a timely manner; Process customer orders in system; Provide assistance in issuing L/C, examine L/C terms and deal with any issues if required; Follow up and monitor suppliers’ production and delivery and coordinate with overseas companies and suppliers on deliveries; Arrange engineers and inspectors to check production on line, do final inspection; Control and monitor suppliers’ shipment bookings and delivery arrangement to forwarders; Collect all the shipping documents for overseas companies; Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports, inspection reports and delivery status reports; Provide feasible solutions and suggestions on problems between overseas and suppliers in order to achieve higher-level satisfaction. Visit suppliers if required to monitor suppliers’ production and expedite delivery. ACHIEVEMENTS Be authorized by UK sister company to take in charge of all the authorization work on order stocks and shipment bookings from China-based suppliers for the first time for this position.
