Prior to becoming a full time student at Nova Southeastern University, I worked as an organizational leader and a sales representative with Southwestern Advantage. Some accolades I have received throughout the years were: Eagle Person of the Year, Top Organizational Leader, Top Team Leader, and Top Experienced Dealer Awards. Having been given multiple titles within the company, I have learned an immense amount of leadership, communication, resilience, and work ethic as I have adapted to each of my roles. I eventually switched career paths and transitioned into medicine to take the next step toward my goals. As I embark on my medical school journey, I hope to further apply the skills I have learned by staying involved with my school and my community through various volunteering, academic, and work opportunities.
