I am • an optimistic change and communications professional specialized in workplace interaction, organizations and people & culture • a Doctor of Philosophy (P.h.D.) in Communication/Social Interaction. My practice-oriented research concentrated on social interaction in healthcare organizations and their administrative groups (e.g. management teams and staff meetings) • always eager to learn more. Helping and coaching people to reach their goals, communicate better and create well-being workplaces inspires and motivates me most. I believe that social interaction and communication create the core of organizations, workplaces and meaningful work.
Consulting various different customer companies and organizations for communications, organizational culture, change, strategies, employee experience, leadership etc. Account director and team leader in various teams. I also lead Ellun Kanat's trainee program and I was the superior for our trainees in 2020.
Conducting a PhD research project and teaching/lecturing. My PhD study concentrated on interpersonal communication in the context of administrative group and team work (e.g. management teams and staff meetings) at a hospital organization. The aim of my study was to describe and understand administrative interaction in organizations, especially in the context of health and social services. The research results can be utilized for instance in many kinds of organizational developing processes, e.g. improving and supporting leadership and HR, change management, team work, responsibility sharing, organizational co-operation, collaboration at work etc.
Teaching communication/social interaction courses (deputyship): Planning, organizing and teaching various courses that concentrate on social interaction and communication in the context of work and organizations, and supervising communication students' on-the-job trainings and exchange studies (=studies abroad). Conducting my own PhD research.

• Full-time communications consultant: 4/2010 - 12/2010. • Part-time communications consultant, working alongside my PhD studies: 12/2010 - 12/2012. Consulting customer and b2b communication for various Finnish and international companies in the area of sports, lifestyle, food, IT and industry. The work included planning and coordinating PR, media relations, social media activities and product launching projects.
