Currently in my 8th year teaching English for Specific Purposes undergraduate courses at the Heallth Sciences Centre Kuwait University. These are credit courses and as such prepare all medical, dentistry, pharmacy and allied health students for their future careers. I have 12 years teaching experience in higher education and have also taught undergraduate courses at Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Law Kuwait University.
I taught on the English Preparatory Program for 4 years at the American University of the Middle East. It was an intensive preparatory programme to prepare students for their undergraduate studies, this included teaching Reading & Writing for Academic Purposes, Presentations and Projects and English for Academic Purposes. I also prepared annual syllabi and course assesments. All course materials were delivered through powerpoint presentations and other medium and we used the latest technology in our classrooms. I taught summer courses, which were also part of their undergraduate studies and were credit courses.
