• Led a data and MI project section of a wider Consumer Duty project to improve customer experiences in an investment & pension firm successfully within strict deadlines. • Built Power BI dashboards that are used by the executive board and allowed account managers to target more relevant business opportunities based on the skills of available consultants. • Managed multiple end-to-end Power BI development projects for financial and investment teams, from business requirements gathering to deployment and user training, resulting in wide use by stakeholder teams, allowing them to derive better insights from their data.
▪️Led and delivered multiple client-facing BI projects on time and within budget. ▪️Quickly developed ThoughtSpot knowledge to expert proficiency within 6 months, which led to me being the go to consultant within the company for ThoughtSpot implementation projects. ▪️Presented complex data strategy pieces to technical and non-technical clients, including company CDO’s, CTO’s, CEO’s and Heads of IT. ▪️Acquired technical skills to transform, cleanse and model data efficiently and in line with industry best practices using SQL Server, Azure Synapse and Power Query. ▪️Built multiple BI reports based on client requirement gathering sessions that ranged across the following business functions: Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and Financial statements with Power BI and ThoughtSpot. ▪️Advocated and assisted in standardising/documenting internal processes, mainly focusing on operational consultancy processes. I have then mapped workflows using Visio and created template projects on Zoho Projects. ▪️Created and presented a business development proposal to the company’s executives, outlining a new service product entirely focused on the Microsoft data stack. This has now been integrated into the 10 year plan for the business.
