After spending my undergraduate education and early professional career in Austin, Texas—I am now a current J.D. Candidate at Duke University School of Law. While in law school, I am looking to explore the breadth of the legal world. While not in school, I am interested in Spanish Literature from the time period of ‘El Boom’ and recipe testing for my upcoming baking cookbook. Ask me about my chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Assisted with Highschool and Middle school students prepare for competitive speech and debate tournaments at the local, state, and national levels of competition. Focusing on the limited preparation events such as extemporaneous and impromptu speaking, I currently work with over 100+ active team members on the NSU Speech and Debate Team.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, I transformed my role from competitor to assistant coach for the Texas Speech Team. I specialize in limited preparation events, such as extemporaneous speaking, and prepared addresses, like persuasive speaking. While coaching the team, I curated seminars discussing best research practices, ethics of communication, and delivery nuance.
After serving as a File Clerk for the firm, I was offered a promotion to Administrative Assitant and eventually — Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this position, I maintain responsibility for all client payments and assist with bank account auditing and tax obligations. This position has been of great value as I venture further in my experience with the legal world; I learned an entirely new operative side of the legal business.
Wanting to continue my experience with the legal world, I undertook the position of file clerk for the law firm of Savrick Schumann. While at the firm, I was charged with client correspondence, such as engagement and introduction, strict file organization for all active cases, and the occasional legal research project. My time spent with Savrick Schumann solidified my desire to pursue my legal education and was an undeniably valuable learning experience.
