I am an incoming PhD student in History with a focus on the History of Science. I specialize in the history of medicine and the history of the mind and human sciences. At Harvard College, I received high honors in History and Science, with a secondary in Philosophy (Contemporary Metaphysics and Epistemology) and a certificate in Mind Brain Behavior. My summa-level graded senior honors thesis, advised by Abigail Higgins, was titled "From Fulfillment and Failure: The Emotional Legacy of Natural Childbirth." I am the 2026 Recipient of the Department of History of Science Book Prize for Overall Excellence, 2026 Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholar, 2022 Roosevelt Scholar, 2021 Coca-Cola Scholar, 2021 Gates Scholar, and 2021 Jack Kent Cooke Scholar. Currently, I am a Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital's Postpartum Traumatic Stress Disorders Research Program, under the supervision of Dr. Sharon Dekel.

Maintain thorough records of lab activity and patient interactions. • Observe infant and child play patterns and interactions with their mothers. • Administer mental health survey to mothers in the Post-Partum Unit after labor and delivery. • Conduct survey reminder calls and timely and empathetic intervention calls for patients who endorse depression on the EPDS scale at any timepoint in the survey. • Conduct meta-analysis and data collection for NIH-funded fMRI study characterizing the neural profile underlying maternal bonding or failure thereof following traumatic childbirth. • Administer surveys for the Harvard-Israel Birth Study, a global mental health initiative with teams in Israel to study the impact of the October 7th massacre and the Israel-Hamas War on pregnant and postpartum women residing in Israel. • Submit payments for completed surveys.

Director of Communications (Fall 2022 - Present) New Analyst [Biden, 2022, and Democracy] (Spring 2022) • Develop a communications plan to strengthen HPOP’s interactions with media and other stakeholders. • Write scripts, draw storyboards, film, direct, and edit HPOP videos with IOP staff. • Organize workshops on media training and strategies. • Lead takeover of IOP social media during press releases to highlight poll findings to the IOP, Harvard, and the general public. • Interview applicants and deliberate over new analysts. • Collaborated with Christine Chen, Executive Director of APIA Vote and IOP Fellow 'S22, by drawing AAPI data. • Briefed Gen-Z for Change, a nationally recognized non-profit organization of young activists. • Analyzed crosstabs of survey data and graphed results for the press release and briefing material for President Joe Biden (who subsequently announced plans to tackle student loan debt) Massachusetts State Legislature, and more. • Published Op-Ed on President Biden's ineffectiveness for the press release and was responsible for sections on the economy, negative partisanship, pessimism about the current state of democracy, and alarmingly prevalent struggle with mental health. • Traveled to Gettysburg (Eisenhower Institute) and Philadelphia and hosted town hall (filmed and released by MSNBC) and consulted campaign teams. • Wrote, revised, and continuously edited each survey before release. Under the mentorship of MSNBC contributor, author, and Director of Polling at the IOP, John Della Volpe, we are America's largest and one of the oldest national polls on young Americans' attitudes toward politics and public service. Former chairs include Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg.
