Eu-Min is a senior lawyer practising in the area of construction and engineering disputes, and commercial litigation. Eu-Min graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in accounting and corporate finance), and holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and a Master of Construction Law from the University of Melbourne. Eu-Min has broad-ranging general commercial litigation experience, and a specialisation in construction and engineering disputes. Eu-Min specialises in building, construction and engineering matters, providing advisory and dispute resolution services including: • Providing initial risk management and dispute prevention advice. • Providing claims advice, preparing claims, responses and contractual notices and generally managing the applicable contractual dispute resolution process. • Generally conducting disputes, including by mediation, court litigation, arbitration, expert determination and adjudications under the Construction Contracts Act 2004 (WA) and NSW Security of Payment legislation. Eu-Min has acted for a wide variety of construction and engineering related clients, including owners, developers, builders, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, project managers, plant and equipment hirers and consultants. As a commercial litigation lawyer, Eu-Min has acted for clients on various commercial and business disputes, including disputes involving contractual, tortious, misleading or deceptive conduct, partnership, insolvency, financial services and local government issues. He has acted on matters in various Courts and tribunals, including the Supreme Court, District Court, Magistrates Court, and State Administrative Tribunal. Eu-Min is proficient in the Chinese (Mandarin) language and Malay.
The Young Constructors Committee (YCC) hosts events and activities to encourage networking and to involve junior members of the construction industry in the activities of the Society of Construction Law Australia. Eu-Min is the YCC Convenor in Western Australia.
