Main objective of the Competence Manager Civil and Architectural is being the functional owner of ASML buildings and civil assets. Together, the Competence Managers are the owners of the Engineering Design Guidelines, policies and (long term) utility master plan. The key areas of responsibility are being the functional owner for the performance of assets, which entails managing the risks related to assets, effective set-up of assets and an effective cost strategy resulting in optimal balance between costs risks and performance. The Manger ensures appropriate supply capacities and continuously optimizes the usage of applicable assets and systems, enhancing the life cycle, performance, sustainability, safety and uptime. The Manager conducts and derives relevant analysis to make improvements and is responsible for managing compliance. Also, the Manager issue advice and/or conducts feasibility studies at request and identifies and proposes new projects to upgrade or improve certain aspects of installation or assets.
