About

Agronomic engineer with a PhD in lipid biochemistry, I have more than 32 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and monitoring partnerships, particularly concerning obesity, diabetes, and cardio-metabolic diseases. My various positions within sanofi have allowed me to lead teams and projects, from target discovery and molecule identification to supporting clinical candidates. During my previous research position in the Cardiovascular and Metabolism unit I have managed innovative programs using liver-specific target silencing technologies in atherosclerosis fields and separately have contributed to better understand Lp(a) metabolism and roles. I have also co-piloted several French & European collaborations and consortia like CHOPIN, CUPIDO, the latter dealing with the targeting of the heart with nanoparticles through the pulmonary route. I’m currently working to establish scientific relationships and innovative initiatives within French, European and USA ecosystems, and has contributed to the development and management of French and European collaborations, consortia and Bioclusters, like the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster and WIDGeT consortium.
