Support Trade Compliance project management related to business operations for an array of technologies including software defined radios, night vision technology, and complex systems · Work with Trade Compliance staff to track, update, and report on the scope, methodology, and status of all investigations, disclosures, notifications, and internal closures · Track, update, and report on all CS policy, procedure, work instruction, and training deliverables, to include scheduling trainings and working groups, and maintaining attendee training records · Oversee the completion of corrective actions, to include tracking, validating, reporting on, and closing corrective actions · Ensure investigations, disclosures, notifications, internal closures, policies, procedures, and training activities stay on track to meet both internal and external deadlines · Lead meetings to provide status updates related to investigations, disclosures, notifications, internal closures, corrective actions, local work instructions, and training · Support projects through review of government disclosures, notifications, internal closures, policies, procedures, local work instructions, and training · Assist with the execution of other special projects related to compliance matters

Responsible for supporting local Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in securing import/export, Customs and Trade Compliance procedures. Coordinate shipments within the Corporate Logistics and Compliance Department. Address daily information requests from Customs Brokers for import clearance of products and Assist in the preparation of responses to formal inquiries by local and foreign government agencies. Maintain and assist with implementation of company export and import compliance procedures and work instructions by supporting internal, external, and government-directed export and import compliance audits and assessments. Administer import/export recordkeeping requirements with local and overseas offices and ensure global consistency and standardization of information, process, and reporting on new projects and support Special Projects/Trade Compliance Initiatives as needed. Lead project initiatives focused on improving shipment tracking and control on reverse and repair flows
Assist the Global Import/Export Trade Compliance Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Import/Export Trade Compliance programs. Strong emphasis on supporting regulatory Import/Export compliance and interfacing with Groups, Divisions and employees at all levels of the organization to include training, developing and advising upper management and staff. Classify items (hardware, software) using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) according to the GRI Obtain data elements, specification documents, or material information from the vendor or suppliers to ensure proper classification of items. Responsible to apply and renewal of all US license application. Including classification of all dual use items, and preparing the Letter of Explanation. Maintaining good relationship with BIS by attending the annual BIS update and Trade Compliance Seminars. Perform internal audit within the organization, to ensure all policies and procedure implemented effectively. Experienced with license application for United Kingdom, Norway and Canada. Provide general guidance, assistance and advice to all CGG facilities with regards to Logistics, Customs & Trade Compliance issues. Also responsible for creating and providing Trade Compliance awareness sessions to all CGG employees. Assist in the development & implementation of logistics procedures, processes & policies.
