Born in the mountains, based in the big city, Romaine is a filmmaker dedicated to telling stories that show us all what we have in common, rather than what sets us apart. His debut short film, “Lovers Leap,” screened at film festivals around the country, winning the audience award at Cinema on the Bayou and several craft awards at NYU First Run. “Lovers Leap,” is soon to be followed by 301 Stories, a web series entirely written and directed by Romaine and set in his native rural Appalachia. Ethan also directs, produces, and edits marketing and commercial video content for clients across a variety of industries. He has worked with artists such as Emei, Black Coffee, Leslie Grace, and Fewocious, as well as companies including TeraWulf, Teksupport, and Compass.
I founded and operate my own production company, through which I produce all of my film projects.

• Collected and analyzed ratings data weekly. • Coordinated with the research, production, and development teams to ensure our data could inform their work and vice versa. • Helped to create the Science Channel schedule by researching competitive programing and trends that could influence said schedule.
• Co-created a podcast discussing the history of Hip-Hop through the lens of sampling as one of the genre’s primary tools. • Recorded and edited the podcast at WNYU studios and co-ran the podcast’s Instagram profile to market the show.
