• Led a project on building a cell culture media database using fluorescent spectroscopy (Excitation Emission Matrix). • Updated and maintained fluorescent and statistical job aids and an electronic laboratory notebook of experiments. • Used chemometrics (Matlab) to statistically analyze spectroscopic datasets and to build models. • Provided support by preparing and shipping key samples to contract testing laboratories, then analyzing and reporting data.
• Conducted research and presented results on metal-organic framework modification impact on electrocatalytic CO2 reduction using a thin film semiconductor. • Completed multistep synthesis reactions under air-sensitive conditions (glovebox and Schlenk line). • Learned the technique to operate, gather, analyze data, and/or draw conclusions from NMR, gas chromatography, UV-Vis spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, potentiostat, and X-ray powder diffraction. • Used computational chemistry (Gaussian) to investigate the thermodynamics and molecular orbitals of a reaction.
