Storyteller. Experienced cultural TV journalist and editor-in-chief, documentary and independent filmmaker with a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry. Excellent writing skills. Moderator and editor of cultural events, leader of conversation series (ISON, Budapesti Nemzetközi Könyvfesztivál, PestText, Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeum, Magyar Zene Háza, Múzeumok Éjszakája). Fluent Italian. After graduating from the dramaturg department of the The University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, I worked in many film and TV related genres, from investigative and socio reports to TV shows and portrait programs, through educational and cultural film series - as an editor-in-chief, director, screenwriter. I often work both in a leadership position and as part of a creative team. I made experimental short films and wrote screenplays for youth series, translated Italian films and opera librettos as a dramaturg. I had also worked as the Italian translator-dramaturg on Golden Legends (2023), a feature documentary film about the legendary three-time Olympic champion Hungarian water polo team. My documentary, The Extraordinary Life of Aunt Emmi (2019) was shown at several festivals, and it won the jury’s main prize at a prestigious Hungarian film festival. My current feature documentary is about the world-class cellist István Várdai.
