Project Manager for UNIC, the European University of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition, with a special focus on Monitoring and Evaluation.
In my role as Project Manager and Officer for Communication and Valorisation, I focus on making more impact with our research. As such I coordinate our upcoming White Paper 'This is the real smart city. With lively debate on democracy, data and technology.' where researchers talk to stakeholders from the field about different issues relating to citizen participation and citizenship in the 'smart' city. I am also responsible for engaging our internal and external community, organising research talks, our podcast and our communication. In the last months, I have been busy with developing a new communication strategy for the Centre.
Development and implementation of our support programme “Duitsland+” for Dutch students studying in Germany, including the organisation of a trip to Berlin for 24 students (with a visit to the Dutch Embassy in Berlin and the Bundestag). Responsible for promotion of the programme.
