New Jersey Poison Control Center/ Coronavirus Hotline is a 24/7 service agency that works in collaboration with the New Jersey Health department to provide medial information to New Jersey residents about the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and related issues. I was trained to help callers and provide support to all residents and workers in New Jersey. As an intern at the Coronavirus Hotline, I answer phone calls and provide information and support on COVID-19 related issues. As intern, I am responsible for a variety of duties which includes: • Providing New Jersey residents and callers with COVID-19 testing and vaccination locations. • Providing New Jersey residents and callers with information on symptoms and preventions. • Providing information on travel precautions and quarantine procedure. • Helping callers with issues on COVID-19 vaccines and side effect. • Making and filling reports on received calls.
