Working alongside executive management, commercial and technical operations teams, partners and system integrators, I provide a bridge between the technical and commercial prerogatives; facilitating technical dialogue, design, architecture and knowledge-sharing; with a keen eye on successful outcomes and an entrepreneurial spirit. Currently, as part of the Technical Marketing Engineering team at Infoblox, my work involves deconstructing the complexities of network infrastructure and security into accessible frameworks for the wider community. Earlier in my career I've been a guest lecturer at Université Paris 13 (Sorbonne Paris Nord) designing and delivering the 'Information Security with an open source toolchain' module, as part of the 'Programmation et Logiciels Sûrs' (PLS) masters degree course and I was part of the core team that launched P1 Security. I helped P1 bring market-leading exploit-knowledge in mobile telecommunications infrastructure (2/3/4G/LTE), packaged as vulnerability assessment and audit solutions, to the telecommunications industry worldwide. Fuelling my passion for open source, I've been a contributor to a few projects as well as serving as the Community Development Coordinator for the OW2 Consortium, providing community development and marketing guidance to a variety of successful high tech open source start-ups in EMEA.
Principal solution architect on major accounts for the Northern Europe team, undertaking presales functions such as RFP responses, preparation of statements of work, solution evangelising and demonstration, conference speaking and partner / customer engagement, mentoring / on-boarding new hires (sales/presales). Extensive collaboration with the wider solution engineering team and organisation, a key facilitator of knowledge distribution, technical partner and global system integrator interactions; facilitating knowledge sharing and curation, providing support to demonstration lab maintenance and evolution; evolving EfficientIP tooling (Python/Golang/Terraform) and providing insight and guidance beyond the sales team to product management and marketing.
At NSFOCUS, China's leading cyber security company, I worked across the EMEA region providing subject matter expertise on NSFOCUS' solutions and key security issues facing CISOs regarding their network infrastructure, application availability, confidentiality and integrity; designing solutions to meet these challenges. Provided security leadership internally and to the community at large as it relates to network security issues such as DDoS, network / application security and threat intelligence among other challenges.
