an Accredited Instructor for the IATA Training & Development Institute. He was the chairman of the IATA Dangerous Goods Training Task Force for 13 years. Under his chairmanship the DGTTF developed the "Handbook for Instructors of Dangerous Goods Courses" and the IATA Training Programmes. Since 1994 he developed and performed the seminar PROFESSIONAL SKILLS FOR DANGEROUS GOODS INSTRUCTORS category 1-6 and in 2009 as an alternative for DG instructors of category 4, 5, 7-12 the DANGEROUS GOODS INSTRUCTLIONAL TECHNIQUES course. After graduating from a commercial school he joined Austrian Airlines in 1958 and worked for 11 years in various functions in the cargo organisation. For 31 years he was working as an instructor for Austrian Airlines own staff and for cargo agents in all cargo related subjects.
