I believe that life is an adventure which paves the way towards what we want to achieve. As I value lifelong learning, progressive elaboration and continual improvement are not just processes of project management, but also what constitute my mindset. I have more than ten years of experience in civil engineering including, two years of site engineering, 9 years of project control engineering and a master degree study in different countries such as Turkey, UK, Russia and Kazakhstan Currently I am working at Ekon Industry Construction & Trade Inc. as Project Control Engineer. I am also a team member of Internal Audition and Business Process Development groups. My job experience includes some of the following areas; -Cost control engineer -Planning engineer -Project control engineer -Site engineer In 2021 I joined some NGOs and started to being an active volunteer. BIM4TURKEY association is my biggest responsibility which aims to enhance application of BIM and BIM management in Turkey. Educates companies, employees and students. I am a board member, regional director and organizational development manager and have been completed more than 2 years as a volunteer at BIM4TURKEY. I have also participated to the foundation of IWDcon (Inspiring Women in Construction) community in 2022 and still leading. JCI is my second largest responsibility where I am 2022 Secretary of Ankara branch and Chair of JCI Europe 2022 Sustainability Community. I also continue as a member in PMI Turkey, SIGD, IPYD and some NGOs.

My main role is examining the latest technologies and new software in the construction industry and adapting them to the projects. Driving the digital construction practices to better understand customer needs and projects' prioritizations, to ensure projects are aligned with technology that delivers maximum return on investment, and support overall business strategy.
• Provide leadership in construction and built environment projects by applying PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP) standards, frameworks, and globally recognized best practices. • Actively contribute to the PMI Construction ecosystem by promoting knowledge sharing, professional collaboration, and the adoption of sector-specific project management approaches. • Lead stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary, multi-contractor environments, strengthening alignment, governance, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. • Drive construction-focused risk, contract, and delivery strategies to manage complexity, uncertainty, and evolving industry challenges. • Serve as a Construction Ambassador, representing PMI’s construction vision within professional networks and organizations, and supporting the dissemination of best practices and lessons learned. • Champion leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement to enhance project performance, resilience, and long-term stakeholder value.
BIM4TURKEY is a platform belonging to “Building Information Modeling and Management Association”. It is the center of transformation for the construction industry. BIM4TURKEY aims to facilitate the integration of Building Information Modelling and Management (BIM) easier and smoother to the building industry, Higher Education and public companies.
In 2024, under the leadership of Local President Meliha Pehlivan Polat and the motto “Maximize It,” I supported JCI Ankara in expanding its reach through strategic partnerships, civic innovation, and international collaboration. Our flagship initiative this year was the Future of Climate Leadership Movement, delivered in collaboration with İklim.co, Doğa Koruma Derneği, and YİBDER (Tomorrow for Today Association). The project provided climate education to 50 high school students over five months and earned JCI Ankara the JCI Türkiye Grant Award for the third consecutive year. We also focused on strengthening our stakeholder ecosystem, maintaining ongoing collaborations with Ankara City Council Youth Assembly, Ostim Technical University, AIESEC Ankara, and expanding partnerships with institutions such as Witgo, BirFatura, Başkent University TEKMER, Ankara TEKMER, TPC Leadership, and Kovan Association. Our 2024 efforts were built on the momentum of earlier years, drawing inspiration from prior initiatives such as the JCIthon entrepreneurship program (2022), the Young Women Leaders Academy (2022), and the National Disaster Inventory project (2023), which laid the groundwork for our ongoing focus on youth empowerment, mentorship, and civic resilience. I was also involved in organizing the Entrepreneurship & Leadership Summit (GLZ) 2024, to be held at Hacettepe University in Ankara, following the successful 2023 edition. Additionally, I represented JCI Ankara at the JCI European Conference in Oulu, Finland, and the European Capitals Meeting in Helsinki, where our delegation contributed to JCI Turkey’s national English debate team and secured JCI Ankara’s selection to host ECM 2025. Through a mix of continuity and innovation, 2024 was a year of deepening impact and setting the stage for global visibility.
