Global M&A was incorporated in 1999 and was a well integrated partnership with then 38 partners present in over 50 countries with around 200 professionals, executing around 300 transactions annually. Partners were leading independent firms in their local markets lead by seasoned, well connected and entrepreneurial professional investment bankers.

Cooperated with other internationally operating partner firms in private equity. Managed amongst others distressed portfolio of firms in which the group had equity interests. Prior to that corporate banker within ING with management responsibility for business banking for a number of branches. Developed knowledge in a variety of industries. Prior to ING started carreer in what was then AMRO bank, where after education and grooming a first specialism was developed for buy outs, working with high growth companies and managing special situations
