As an Accreditation & Quality Infrastructure Specialist | ISO Standards & Corporate Governance Advisor, I help organizations achieve excellence in Conformity Assessment, International Standards compliance, and Corporate Governance. Over the past 23 years, I have worked across laboratories, certification bodies, regulators, and industry, with 13 years in middle and senior management roles driving strategic planning, quality systems, and project management. I have led the accreditation of laboratories and certification services, sustained SADCAS accreditation since 2015, and played a key role in establishing the Zambia Accreditation Service (ZAS). My work spans national and regional quality infrastructure initiatives, having contributed to COMESA and SADC trade facilitation and standards harmonization projects since 2010. As a corporate governance and stakeholder engagement specialist, I have managed diverse collaborations between government, the private sector, and development partners. I have delivered training to inspectors, assessors, executives, and technical experts across Africa, enhancing competence in ISO standards, integrated management systems, and governance best practices. My consultancy portfolio includes work with organizations such as the Rural Electrification Authority (REA), Energy Regulation Board, Zambia Metrology Agency, Zambia Tourism Agency, First Quantum Minerals, Kansanshi Mining PLC, UNIDO, and ARSO, among others. My mission is to strengthen institutional systems, promote compliance with international standards, and enable organizations to compete effectively in regional and global markets.
Lead consultancy delivering Quality Management Systems (QMS), Accreditation, Quality Infrastructure, Corporate Governance, and Stakeholder Engagement solutions for public and private sector organizations in Africa. Key Projects & Achievements: Led REA Stakeholder Perception Survey (2025), identifying awareness gaps and recommending engagement strategies. Delivered technical support for conformity assessment and quality infrastructure enhancement under UNIDO programs across Africa. Developed IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) for ZMA (2024) with gap audits, documentation, and training. Implemented ISO 9001:2015 QMS for ERB (2024), training staff and executives. Prepared Kansanshi Mining PLC lab for ISO 17025:2017 accreditation (2023). Delivered ISO 17025 & ISO 45001 training for GS Congo Calibration Lab (2023). Created lab QMS & scheme rules for NSTC (2024). Designed organic certification system for ARSO (2024). Trained ZCSA inspectors in ISO 17020 compliance (2023). Delivered ISO 45001:2018 H&S training for Prudential & Kafue Gorge RTC (2023–2024). Developed lab QMS for UNZA (2023) and conducted gap analysis. Provided QMS advisory for agribusiness operations with ISO and trade requirements. Designed SPS & traceability framework for SNV Netherlands/AfTRa (2016). Supported SQAM policy and trade facilitation reforms under USAID Southern Africa Trade Project (2014).
Developed, implemented, and maintained QMS for the national standards body, leading to multiple SADCAS accreditations. Key Achievements: Achieved and sustained ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17021, and ISO/IEC 17065 accreditations since 2015. Established systems for inspection, certification, and post-market surveillance. Represented Zambia in SADC quality infrastructure and trade facilitation forums. Delivered technical support to laboratories and inspection bodies for maintaining compliance with international standards.
Led a 140-person production team, improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and expanding market reach..
