Mobility & Manufacturing sector team. Assisted in preparing the fairness opinion of Vastned Retail with Vastned Belgium (€1.3bn). Supported in other (undisclosed) origination and execution activities. Developed a full-fledged DCF model as an end of internship assignment.
Fast Forward FB is an audit, tax and advisory firm. The Firm mission is to serve the Albanian market needs not being addressed so far from the local and international firms aiming to improve the Business Practices and specifically the Corporate Reporting. Current engagements portfolio include provision of assurance, accounting and advisory services to international financial and commercial entities as well as to high profile domestic entities. Project highlighted: assisting in the preparation of the valuation report for a Hospitality Facility with a dominant F&B component. The purpose of the report was to be used as part of obtaining a refinancing of its related entity. Responsibilities included: Conducting on-site research and interviewing staff/management. Conducting market research regarding the specific location and market Researching the structure of valuation reports in the specific industry Assessing the value of the business using a detailed DCF model Ensuring that the report is in line with IVS as well as with IFRSs (i.e IFRS 13 and IAS 36).
NLC is a startup studio and venture capital fund. Its domain of focus is Health Technology (Biotech, Medtech, Software). During my time there I was responsible for a part of the venture portfolio, managing and designing fund strategy, and supporting with internal administration. Some achievements: o Helped in closing the first fundraising round of the €100 million Health Impact Fund; o Managed communications and administration in the closing of a €10 million bridge round; o Participated in multiple Seed & Series A rounds of our portfolio companies (€0.5m - €5m); o Consulted two ventures on their valuation, budget, financing strategy and pitchdecks. Additionally, I worked in validating and backing: - Business models of new ventures with a specific focus on quantifying business cases (including indicative valuations); - Market research for NLC's ventures; - Business development activities such as expanding our network of potential (international) investors (both research as well as approach) - Fundraising processes for NLC’s ventures from both dilutive as well as non-dilutive funding sources; - Developing new and disruptive funding models - Supporting the CEO with marketing materials - Design and execution of exit strategies for our ventures - Conducting valuations and comparable analyses for both fundraising and exits NLC - the European Healthtech Venture Builder - is dedicated to advancing health, making it accessible for everyone.
