Prepared, cooked, and delivered around 80 meals to Canton residents weekly. Coordinated team of volunteers for cooking shifts and delivery. Created outreach list of local charitable organizations, and worked with Student Life to connect on-campus clubs to administration. Served on selection committee with administration to hire St. Lawrence's Director of Volunteer Services and Greek Life. Inspired student groups on campus to address food insecurity in the North Country by volunteering with Campus Kitchens.
Surveyed and measured beach sites to monitor encroaching development. Organized community beach clean-ups and mangrove reforestation events. Networked with donors and led tours of facility for tourists and local schools. Tagged, measured, and released sea turtles caught by local fisherman. Conducted on-site interviews and compiled data.
