I founded Little Lush in February 2016, wanting to use my integrity, intelligence, and wide base of skills to assist lifestyle and hospitality brands to prosper and succeed. After graduating with a Bachelor of Communications, I secured a role at RSN Australia, working on the company's three glassware brands (RIEDEL, Spiegelau and Nachtmann). Over the next seven years, I went on to establish a structured marketing department, integrating all aspects of their partnerships, sponsorships, events program, print and digital advertising, and brand awareness campaigns. My knack for efficiency and devoted commitment to spreadsheets helped build a base for the company's brands to grow within both the Australian and New Zealand markets. The idea for Little Lush was born after working with contractors and building partnerships with other small businesses in the industry. This gave me an understanding of how much pressure ballooning salary expectations (coupled with lacklustre skills) can put on a company in a sometimes turbulent market. The solution? Take on someone who will get to know your brand, and can work when it's needed and ease off when it's not. I am enthusiastic, passionate and inherently results driven. My passion, excitement, quick learning and tenacity has since benefited a number of well-respected brands.
After 10 years working on the RIEDEL brand, I am now working with the marketing team based at the head office in Kufstein, Austria, as a global content specialist.
Little Lush brings together my nine years of experience in event management and marketing with my big-picture mindset and high level organisational skills. Little Lush is here to dot every I and cross every T with a fully integrated approach to event management, from marketing to operations. My specialised skills and meticulous eye for detail will benefit any company without the added pressure of a full-time salary. Once I know your goals and what you want to achieve, I can work from project to project as you require.
I worked closely with the small team behind this restaurant guide for nearly two years as their Events Manager with additional marketing support. During this time I became an integral contributor thanks to my detailed work, result-driven nature, and commitment to the growth of their brand. This included: • High-level strategy consultation as a part of their fortnightly Marketing and Events WIP meetings; • Strict management of their Mise en Place trade events, a global Gault&Millau initiative that gives industry professionals the chance to engage with Australia's world-class producers and suppliers. I was the primary contact for the venues and suppliers, coordinated requirements for up to 45 exhibitors, worked within tight budgets, and delivered persistent and varied marketing to achieve our registration goal of 600 guests; • Strict management of two of their Gault&Millau awards ceremony and new guide launch events, attended by 400 of the industry’s best. Not only was this event described by the best yet by management and guests alike, it was also achieved on only 35% of the previous year’s budget as a result of prioritizing and smart decision-making;
Contracted to assist with their Grand Cru Shiraz tour of events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
