• Responsible for all logistics of both national and international live remotes; including location surveys, production schedules, booking crews and satellite trucks • Field produce live interviews and full TODAY Show broadcasts • Work closely with executive producers, technical managers and crew to execute successful broadcasts • Negotiate contracts and book vendors such as studios, rental equipment, security and catering • Work in fast paced control room and oversee all live remotes for the show, including breaking news situations, such as the death of Pope John Paul II, Japan Tsunami, Sandy Hook School Shooting, Terror Attacks at the Boston Marathon, Philadelphia Amtrak Train Derailment and Charleston Church shooting • Manage local vendor and freelance production assistants for various live remote broadcasts including both the Vancouver, London and Milan-Cortina Olympics Special Projects include: • Summer Olympics - Athens, Greece (2004), Beijing, China (2008), London England (2012) • Presidential Funerals of Ronald Reagan (2004) & Gerald Ford (2007) • Vancouver Winter Olympics (2010) • TODAY SHOW LIVE - Jungfraujoch, Switzerland (2011) • TODAY SHOW LIVE – Statue of Liberty (2009) • The Resignation of Pope Benedict – Rome, Italy (2013) • Presidential Inaugurations of Barack Obama (2009, 2013) & Donald Trump (2017) • TODAY SHOW LIVE – Universal Orlando, FL (2020)
