  • Co-founder at Zirtual
    Aug 2011 - Aug 2015 · 4 yrs 1 mo

Head of Branding, Design, UX/UI, and Front-end Web Designer/Development Joined Maren Kate in 2011 to help establish Zirtual as the market leader in online concierge/virtual assistance. As the Head of Branding, Design and UX/UI, my main core competency was in developing and curating the experience each member, and prospective employee, had when interacting with Zirtual. That included designing and developing the front-end of the website; architecting the checkout and new client on-boarding flows; creating and deploying the post signup email drips driven by customer journey; designing and producing all collateral materials (internal and external); art directing video shoots; developing pitch and investor decks and emerging market presentations; strategizing, creating and analyzing paid digital ads for remarketing/retargeting campaigns; content creation; all in addition to the duties that come along with being a founder. Zirtual grew to 450 people and $12M/yr run rate.

  • Graphic Designer at BrandLab
    Jan 2010 - Apr 2011 · 1 yr 4 mos

BrandLab was established when Octane Studios partnered with Dave Longfield of the Richards Group. The agency stepped out from simply being known as the “cool, hip” boutique shop in town, to one that could compete on a full-service level with all the major players. The focus shifted toward developing stronger branding platforms and strategies, while maintaining an emphasis on keeping the edginess and availability that attracted our clients to BrandLab. My role with the company was quite broad, ranging from lead designer, to lead web developer, to strategist, to client and vendor liaison. Such is the nature of working in a small shop. Over the years I’ve proved myself to be very well rounded, while maintaining my passion for learning and growing.
