Hi there! My name is Erika, currently a Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Officer in Universal Robina Corporation (URC). As a Recruitment Partner for URC Philippines, I recruit talents in Marketing, Sales, and Joint Ventures (Nissin, Vitasoy, and Danone). Previously I have recruited for Finance and Information Technology functions. I also handle the company's Employer Brand efforts in the Philippines. Having recently graduated from URC's 1.5 year Management Trainee Program, I've gained experiences in Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Internal Communications & Corporate Employee Programs, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partnering.
After graduating from URC's 18-month Management Trainee Program, my current role is focused on Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding: ▪️Led URC Philippines' Employer Branding efforts including: 1) content creation for the company's corporate LinkedIn page, 2) key involvement in the company's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) development ▪️Recruitment Partner for Marketing, Sales, and Joint Ventures (Joint Ventures being Nissin, Vitasoy, and Danone) since Oct. 2022
URC's Management Trainee Program is the company's early careers program covering 18-months with rotations focused on Human Resources functions. I was immersed in Talent Acquisition, Organization Development, Internal Communications & Employee Programs, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partnering. 1.) Talent Acquisition (Aug. 2021 to Jan. 2022) • Recruitment partner for Finance and Treasury vacancies. • Led Employer Branding projects such as campus events and revamp of new hire onboarding materials. 2.) Organizational Development (Aug. 2021 to March 2022) • Concurrent with stint in Talent Acquisition • Performed role of Agile Squad Member for the OD function and liaised with IT and Employee Experience business partners from JG Summit Holdings, Inc. for the launch Darwinbox, URC's newest Talent Management System. Subsequently led Train-the-trainer sessions to HR Leaders and URC Managers in navigating the system and performing trouble-shooting. • Served as Lead Talent Management System Administrator (i.e. Darwinbox) for Competency Assessment and Performance Appraisal modules for total URC. 3.) Internal Communications and Corporate Employee Programs (Feb. 2022 to May 2022) • Internal Communications and Employee Engagement 4.) Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits (June 2022 to July 2022) 5.) HR Business Partner (Aug. 2022 to Sept. 2022) 6.) Talent Acquisition (Oct. 2022 to Feb 2023) • Returned to TA again as my last rotation, this time as the Recruitment Partner for Marketing, Sales and Joint Ventures (Nissin, Vitasoy, and Danone). • As early as time, I was also entrusted to lead URC Philippines' Employer Branding efforts (i.e. LinkedIn Content management)
• Recruitment partner for rank and file to executive-level positions for Governance accounts of URC: Human Resources, Finance, Treasury, Audit, Information Technology, and Legal. • Managed end to end recruitment cycle for accounts: sourcing, interviewing, job offer discussion, processing of pre-employment requirements, and new hire corporate orientation.
• Advised students from the UA&P Accounting Program as they write their undergraduate thesis.
