About
I am an early-career researcher, having been awarded a research fellowship at the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of Warwick. Also, I was appointed as a Teaching Fellow in the Sociology department at the same university, lecturing on gender, criminology, anti-racism, gender development, sexuality, and global governance. In my PhD thesis, I explored the lived experiences of Central American immigrants in Mexico and their mobilities in the US-Mexico border. I was particularly interested in the roles of social infrastructures, colonial legacies and resistances underpinning migratory dynamics and processes.
