As a Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE) quality intern: • Used specialist construction management software to generate statistics for the quality team. • Attended regular quality inspection walks at various locations within the facility. • Generated weekly change request spreadsheet to be issued to relevant parties. • Conducted detailed university research project regarding the concept of ‘Right First Time’. • Attained Solas Safepass training. • Took part in multiple ‘inter-intern’ presentations.
• Used Excel to create company-wide calculation spreadsheets relating to structural robustness, load takedown and surface & foul water pipes. • Used AutoCad to produce domestic details (foundations, roof truss design, water tank details etc.) for a large housing estate in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. • Undertook of several site visits, one of which related to the effect of construction traffic on several listed bridges due to the just opened Center Parcs project in Longford. • Created and edited Microsoft Word company reports, ensuring that they were suitable for client consumption. • Completed both pre-connection and connection applications to Irish Water on behalf of several clients.
• Packaged high precision and high value pharmaceutical/aeronautical parts for both national and international exportation. • Documented all deliveries made to company using Ordú software.
