-Globally responsible for the Hardware, Software (SAP and Business Driven IT) and IT Professional Services Categories. Creating, maintaining and renegotiating global frameworks (covering Americas/EMEA/APAC), category strategy development, stakeholder management, virtual internal team coordination and resolving conflicts. - Lead innovation drive within the category in coordination with Global Architecture and relevant IT and business stakeholders. - Manage the IT Procurement intern program. (Recruitment, selection and development of candidates).
- Coordinating global cross border requirements for sourcing initiatives. - Carrying out spend analysis to support and target, cost savings and efficiency improvement initiatives. - Landscape assessment preparation and design of category plans to carry out cost savings initiatives. - Negotiating new and managing existing global discounts and global pricing agreements. - Leading implementation of processes and procedures around the sourcing cycle for maintaining cost control.
- Responsible for managing Global contracts / agreements for market data suppliers. - Lead teams for carrying out both Vendor and Exchange compliance audits. (Reuters/LSE/Euronext/NYSE/BGC/CEG) - Advise Management on maximizing value of market data spend. Regular Spend Reports / Reviews - Manage knowledge exchange and savings initiatives within the Global ING Market Data community. Coordinating monthly meetings and regular informative sessions. - Oversee the execution of service level agreements with internal clients.
- Responsible for Market Data Contract and Vendor Management having as a goal, achieving cost savings for ING concerning market data use through usage reviews, contract negotiations, renegotiations and initiating cost saving projects. - Research new delivery systems and develop the future strategy of Market Data Service Delivery. - Administration (invoice flow, payment validation and purchase request cycle) and support (Trainings, Technical, Content and Product queries) of market data, the technical permisioning of Market Data used by employees of ING Wholesale Banking Amsterdam and Investment Management.
- Startup and design of new concept Mexican fast food restaurant chain. - Responsible for market research concerning the name, image and perception of the Taco Mundo concept. Carried out focus group testing activities, cost structure, pricing and margin level analysis, vendor selection and several basic HR activities.
